Start With Your Interview Prep

The whole job hunt, cv writing, interview prepping process is a backwards one.
Here’s the typical scenario, a person writes a cv, applies for a job, maybe gets called in for an interview and then starts prepping for it, and then goes to the interview .
Here’s another way of proceeding, start with the interview and work backwards.
Imagine that at some point they, the person doing the interview, asks the classic question ‘why do you think you’d be suited for this role?’ or ‘what do you have to offer this company’. At this point, an unprepared person will hesitate and come up with something that invariably will undersell them. Today, the answer I was given by someone applying for a sales role was ‘because I’m determined’.
